Prekindergarten Exceptional Student Education
Technical Assistance & Training System
Prekindergarten Exceptional Student Education-Technical Assistance and Training System (PESE) is an Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)-funded statewide project that supports programs serving prekindergarten children with disabilities by providing technical assistance and training. This support promotes high quality programs leading to positive outcomes for children and their families.

Project Priorities
The Florida Department of Education/Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services (FLDOE/BEESS) has established the following project priority areas to be addressed by the Prekindergarten Exceptional Student Education-Technical Assistance and Training System (PESE) project. They address the Preschool Indicators in the State Performance Plan/Annual Performance report, also known as the BEESS Strategic Plan, including the State Systemic Improvement Plan, Indicator 17.
